A Plane, or Plane of Existence, is a realm or dimension that exists parallel to, within, or outside other planes. There are eleven known planes of existence. To reach these eleven planes is typically possible through various forms of teleportation or different portals. However, not all planes are accessible to all beings, and some planes are only known to a specific being or beings.
The Eleven Planes of Existence
Physical Plane
The Physical Plane in the plane in which the mortal world resides.
Astral Plane
The Astral Plane is a plane of existence that coexists with the physical plane. It mimics our current plane and resembles it cmoHowever, time does not move forward on this plane.
Spiritual Plane
The Spiritual Plane a plane where spirits who cannot or refuse to move on reside. It is the only plane in which plasma occurs.
The Neutral Plane
The Neutral Plane is plane beings travel through when teleporting.
The Netherworld between Good and Evil
The Netherworld Between Good and Evil is a plane of existence between good and evil. Little else is known about it, except that it supposedly can only be accessed if good and evil cooperate
The Heavens
The Upper Regions is a place where the Elders reside and keep the power of the Gods. It is here that they watch over the earth, witches and their Whitelighters.
The Underworld
The Underworld is a plane where demons and other demonic beings live and interact.
Limbo
Limbo is a plane where time stops, where death and aging can be avoided. Here, souls go to for reincarnation, such as the Zen Masters, Zodiacs, and other magical beings.
The Demonic Wasteland
A plane where all vanquished demons end up. This is also where the Beast lives.
Ancestral Plane
This is a dimension in the afterlife where the deceased Warren Witches gather in times of need. The plane mirrors that of the Halliwell Manor.
Notes and Trivia
- Only certain planes of existence can be reached by forms of magical teleportation. Other planes require a spell or death to visit, as seen with The Demonic Wasteland and The Ancestral Plane.
